Oh Baby! Pre and Postpartum Health Coaching
Oh Baby! - Pre and Postpartum Coaching
Ever wonder what you should be doing or eating when trying to get pregnant or recovering from giving birth? Is Google just not giving you the answers you're looking for?
If you're nodding your head yes, this is the coaching program for you.
As a mom of a five year old and one year old twins, who was back in her jeans after 11 days with both pregnancies… I realize that bouncing back wasn’t the expectation. I could fit in those jeans, but was I okay? Not really.
I recovered well because I took care of myself well before, during, and after each pregnancy. Through, food, lifestyle modifications, and supplements, I was able to heal. And feel like myself.
I’ve shared this plan with friends and with mom groups. But now I want to share it with you. Planning and planning to recover should be non-negotiables and I plan to change the game and “bouncing back” narrative, starting with coaching you.

Goal Setting for 2023
Planning the plan.
It sounds scary, but it’s not. Look at it this way. You put an address into your map app on your phone and that map takes you where you want to go. On the best route. In the shortest amount of time. Planning out your 2023 goals does the same thing. Gets you to where you want to go smoothly and quickly. With less roadblocks.
A Side of Syrup Podcast - EP 012: Disrupting the Cookie Category with Kirstyn Shaw
In all seriousness, Kirstyn’s been cooking and feeding those she loves since she was a kid. She knew her gift early and honed it. Bringing joy and love to others in the form of food. Little did she know it then, but she tapped into one of Syrup Coaching’s main tenets of wellness - community - building it as she went. And when she was ready [the pandemic sort of made us ready for anything, right?] she launched a business to bring her gift to the masses. Along the way she disrupted the cookie business, making it fun, collaborating with likeminded people and causes that mattered. Plus, I swear she’s created a new market demand for cinnamon roll cookies.
Making a Morning Checklist
Sometimes a micro-list of a few things that have to be done can serve as a reminder to slow down and actually enjoy the tasks and to pepper in some chances to unwind at all points of the day.
See the morning checklist below. Just a few positive and quick reminders of what needs to be done in the morning and what needs to be done in the morning for you to thrive.

A Side of Syrup Podcast - EP 007: A Guide to Understanding Organic and Other Food Label Claims with Shannon Pfeffer of Syrup
After fifteen years in food marketing, I’ve got a thing or two to say about food labels.
Food labels are there for a reason - to keep us safe. However, what is written on pack is often deceiving and dare I say it, unregulated. Not that it’s not totally false. But advertisers and marketers (the ones responsible for the copy on the packaging) tend to push the limits and spin a product in a certain way that’s appealing to the ideal target consumer.
In today’s episode I dive into that “a ha” moment that happened to me when I had to launch a product with light backing behind a bold health claim.
