Interesting Things On the Internet: Edition 9
If there's one thing to pay attention to this week, it's the link to Cleo Wade's TED Talk. While presented in late 2017, her message is hopeful, positive, and what truly matters to every human being right now - be as good to as many people as you can. I know dropped Zoom calls and bad connections are annoying. I know that being re-sheltered-in-place is arriving. And I know that the Fourth of July without a celebration feels somewhat lame. BUT, what matters most aren't those things. It's listening, loving, and caring for those around you. Those you know and those you don't.
Making change, small change, or life-enhancing change, is hard. But the responsibility for change falls on us all. (And well, I help primarily with that through my coaching). Do what you can when you can and have a Happy Fourth of July weekend.

Living from home. That’s where we’re at right now. I’m trying to get my head wrapped around the idea. But what about you? Are you settling in or getting restless? Happy or perplexed?
This week focuses on focusing, with a little sugar thrown in (because why not?… we’re all on a perpetual holiday, and it is summer!)
Interesting Things On the Internet: Edition 7
No matter where I turn, color, and art are catching my eye. The creativity gene that oftentimes is dormant feels alive. Does this mean I’m breaking out some watercolor or clay? Probably not. But my eyes are wide open for talent to add life and perspective to the plain walls around me. This week’s links explore creativity, art, and colors.
Interesting Things On the Internet: Edition 6
As this week closes, there’s a sense of innovation and introspection in the air. How can we do better? How can we change even more of what we want to change in the world? There are more informational pieces vs. cool things this week because what I’m seeing are challenges and questions asked about our future. What will it look like? And most importantly, what do you want it to look like?
Interesting Things On the Internet: Edition 5
Thank you to those who made the status quo uncomfortable. Thank you for those who have opened your hearts and minds to listen and understand. And thank you to the behavior change at scale that's taking place.
The world is going to look wildly different in 1 year, five years, 20 years' time. I can't wait to see what it will look like and how different we will all be.
Interesting Things On the Internet: Edition 4
Summer is here. And the world feels like it's moving (some in the right direction and some in the very wrong). Wherever you're at in the world, I hope you're feeling a hopeful shift. Summer is about being free, getting an ample amount of vitamin D, and watermelon & ice cream on every holiday. And most importantly, play. It's how we all learn. Whether you're a kid or an adult, learning by doing is a critical way to make something stick if you're looking to make a change - in this season or overall - make time to play, just like on a warm summer day.
Interesting Things On the Internet: Edition 3
The term "good news" has reached a five-year high on Google. People everywhere are looking for a silver lining. Memorial Day sort of feels like New Year's Eve. We don't know what's on the other side, but we're excited about the break and the change. Here's to a weekend of rest, recharging, and grilling.
Interesting Things On the Internet: Edition 2
Forget banana bread, whipped coffee, and home workouts. This week was my highlight of quarantine. We - finally! - set up a home automation system. It’s both thrilling and giggle-inducing. And it’s one of those things we planned to do for a very long time, but never had the time to do. In between finicking with the app and talking to technology I’ve curated some awesome links for the week.
