Total time: 60 minutes
Ingredients
1 cup nut or seed butter (Marantha almond is my favorite)
2 tbsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cup almond flour
8 tbsp protein powder
1/2 tsp sea salt (like Diamond)
8 tbsp maple syrup
2/3 cup Grapenuts cereal
1 chopped dark chocolate bar (like Hu Gems)
Flaky sea salt for sprinkling
Assemble It
Stir together all ingredients until just combined.
Roll into even-ish sized balls.
Leave on a plate with parchment paper or a Silpat, top with flaky sea salt.
Freeze for an hour.
Once frozen, eat or transfer to a freezer-safe container and back in the cold.
Another Flavor
Swap Grapenuts for granola (Elizabeth is yummy)
Add dried cranberries or cherries instead of dark chocolate
If you want the balls to be sweeter, add 1/3 cup white chocolate chips
