Our Chocolate Bites are not just tasty; they're also a powerhouse of nutrition. They provide a good balance of protein from nut butter and protein powder, making them an excellent snack for sustained energy and muscle recovery. The addition of coconut oil and maple syrup offers a touch of natural sweetness, making these bites a healthier alternative to traditional chocolate snacks.

Serves 12 

Total time: 12 hours

Ingredients

  • 2 cup nut or seed butter (Marantha almond is my favorite)

  • 8 tbsp protein powder chocolate

  • 1/2 cup melted coconut oil

  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder (or raw cacao powder)

  • 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup

  • Optional: Coarse sea salt, for sprinkling on top

Assemble It

  1. Using a heat-proof bowl (glass) stir together all ingredients until just combined.

  2. Pour the mixture into an ice cube tray or small Souper cubes.

  3. Top with flaky sea salt. Freeze for a few hours to overnight. 

Another Flavor

  • Swap almond butter for 2 cups cashew butter

  • Add 1/2 cup maple syrup

  • Swap chocolate protein powder for vanilla
