Interesting Things on the Internet: Edition 25

Before we’re all OOO and put our computers, tablets, and phones away. There are a few gems on the internet that you’ve gotta see. In no particular order, here they are - Interesting Things on the Internet: Edition 25.

Phone-free Self-care - Trend Alert: As the 2023 predictions and trend reports are coming in, Real Simple featured a wellness-focused report. Phone-free self-care, emotional well-being, unfussy fitness, and mindful drinking are amongst the top trends to watch.

Phrase to Tell Where You’re From: A much pared down version of the popular feature in NYT a few years back. This simple website allows you to type in a word linked to your unique dialect - “pop” or “freeway” - and it will tell you which part of the US it came from. Not global yet, but it will be amazing when it will be.

Cats Morphing into Croissants: If you’ve ever thought your/a cat was cute while sleeping. Then this video is going to blow your mind - cats morphing into our favorite pastry.

Zoomquilt: Sort of like a Magic Eye, but digital and endless. This scrolling site was created in 2004 and once you get going. It’s a mindless and super cool distraction from the ordinary art you see online.

Gingerbread House IRL: A woman in Texas transformed her entire home into a life size gingerbread house. In the words of Liz Lemon, “I want to go to there.”

Redefining Clean Beauty in 2023: Whether you’re knee deep into clean beauty or you’re ready to take the leap, the industry is changing in 2023. Fast Company pulled together exactly what to look out for on the store shelves.
