What to Order: Bear Flag Fish Co.

If you’re down in Huntington Beach, head over to the new Bear Flag Fish Co. Yes, it’s technically in a mall, but when after you order you can sit inside or outside and get a full ocean view. At night there’s even a fire pit so you can chill and share food and have a cocktail or sparkling beverage as you watch the sun go down. There’s also not a bad thing on the menu.

Here’s what to order when you go:

  • Poke Bowls: Seriously, any of the Poke Bowls are fantastic and fresh. I like to top them with the pickled ginger, carrots, and spicy sauce. Best eaten with a beach view!

  • Ceviche + Grilled Artichoke: Pair a simple fish with a grilled veggie and you’ve got a light lunch that will keep you fueled for a beach day.

  • Guac + Chips: The portion is massive, so ask for it in a to-go container and enjoy it as an afternoon snack in the sun.
