What to Order: Offset Coffee Roasters

One of my kids went to camp on the Westside of LA last summer. I spent months at the beach, drinking my way from coffee roaster to coffee roaster. The coffee at Offset was the best by far. There wasn’t an apples-to-apples comparison. The coffee is great. The service is approachable and kind. And in particular, the Manhattan Beach location had the best chill beach vibe.

Here’s what to order when you go:

  • Coffee: Flat White or Nitro Vanilla with whole milk. Bonus if you bring a little protein powder to add in. But only your second cup! Don’t tarnish that perfect first cup.

  • Anything Seasonal: the Strawberry Matcha Einspanner for summer is top-notch.

  • Tea: try the Apricot Escape herbal tea if you’re beaching it in the afternoon and don’t need the caffeine.
